Zyplex Bio Solid Dividers

Coarse primary solids and secondary bio solids which accumulate in the wastewater treatment process must be treated and disposed of in a safe and effective manner since the material may be inadvertently contaminated with toxic organic and inorganic compounds.

One solution is composting - mixing the wastewater solids with sources of carbon such as sawdust, straw or wood chips. In the presence of oxygen, bacteria digest both the wastewater solids and the added carbon source and, in so doing, produce a large amount of heat.

Our Zyplex Dividers allow bio solid material, at different stages of the conversion process, to be segregated, to prevent cross contamination. Zyplex 55 is the ideal material for the dividers – able to cope with some of the most challenging physical conditions: toxic chemicals, high heat levels, and being continually wet. Between cycles the dividers can be easily washed down and repositioned if necessary.
